SPECIALS PAPH/PHRAG DIVISIONS ASSORTED FLASKS CHECKOUT CATALOG

All flasks are in NEW user friendly plastic screw top jars. Easy to ship, and more importantly, an absolute dream to remove for potting up. Most contain at least 20 healthy seedlings, often more. SPECIAL RELEASE:

Z330 (Stahnopea wardii x Hesperides) x Coryanthes macarantha var. aureum

This amazing intersectional will be completely unpredictable. Pod parent is an easy growing and extremely fragrant Stanhopea, crossed on to the mammoth macrantha - and an exceptional colour form to boot! Pod parent has not been named here, so the first to bloom this and we can talk! LIMITED $125

Z328 Paph. niveum ‘Sam’s Gift’ x niveum ‘Steady Double’

Coloratum niveums of good form, always bifloral. Compots $125

Z340 Paph. Onyx ‘Fancy Cherry’ HCC/AOS x sukhakulii ‘Compact’

Pod parent has a very tall stem, so hoping here for Macabre caliber flowers on taller stems over compact growing plants. Compots $100

Z323 Phrag Jason Fischer (Memoria Dick Clements ‘Zephyrus Cubit’ x besseae ‘Neon Fire’ AM/AOS)

Our own version of perhaps the best red Phrag out there. Pod parent is very unusual as it is flatter and more pink/red than your typical MDC. Pollen parent is our best besseae by far. Compots $150

Z335, Z310 Paphinia Majestic ‘Zephyrus Candy’ x ‘Bratwurst’ AM/AOS

With good water, low light and intermediate temps, we are able to flower this pod parent every 6-8 weeks, setting 2 or 3 new pseudobulbs a year. Pollen parent is absolutely huge. Vigorous, fast growing….and overproduced in the lab! Compots $150

Paph. barbigerum 'Mini'

A miniature, compact growing and colorful form of this easy to grow species, these can easily put up 4 or 5 flowers from a 2 1/4" pot! Sold out last time....

$150 NET

delenatii var. album ‘Canadian Blizzard’ x sib ‘Sparkeus Momenteus’ AM/AOS

Next generation breeding for this eay growing species. Pollen parent is huge checking in at 8.6 cm when awarded, however it has since been bigger. $150

philippinense ‘Norman’ HCC/AOS x supardii ‘John Junior’

A similar, very rare cross Dragontale (supardii x sanderianum), may be one of the best, least encountered, and therefore underappreciated of the sanderianum primaries. Its broadly swaying petals are truly remarkable. I have tried to reproduce this effect on easier to grow plants using a pod parent with nearly 30 cm petals. Very high potential for this cross. (pod parent pictured) $125

rothschildianum ‘Eureka’ AM/AOS x Wossner China Moon (armeniacum x hangianum) ‘Huge Golden Egg’ (pictured)

If you like Dollgoldi then this cross is for you since Wossner China Moon is like armeniacum on steroids (and easier to bloom!). These will be huge stunning Dollgoldi like flowers, except bigger, longer lasting, and hopefully easier to flower! What more can you ask? $150

haynaldianum ‘Zephyrus Vinicolour’ x philippinense ‘Norman’ HCC/AOS

Remake of a classic primary with the extremely dark colour form of haynladianum. Combined with a superior, huge philippinense these should be new and improved free blooming multiflorals. $125

***philippinense ‘Norman’ HCC/AOS x sanderianum ‘Rapunzel’ AM/AOS***

Michael Koopowitz competes with Prince Edward of York as the most highly warded sanderianum primary (personally I prefer the longer petals on Michael Koopowitz!). After many attempts, we have finally been able to remake this stellar primary with our best sanderianum and our best philippinense. A rare opportunity as we do not have any more of these in the pipe right now. $250  NET

At long last, we are pleased to report germination from our delenatii dunkel has been very good, including 2 of its hybrids! Have a look at the following trio, as well as a few other pleasant surprises:
delenatii v. dunkel ‘John’s Black Magic’ CHM/AOS x self  - the vinicolour form of delenatii, leaves are black on the undersides and leaf margins. Pouches are intense cherry  purple. Just as easy, if not easier, than the typical coloratum form to grow. $200
rothschildianum ‘Eureka’ AM./AOS x delenatii v. dunkel ‘John’s Black Magic’ CHM/AOS  - given that these are being released from the lab at the same time as the selfing, it would suggest that these too are fast growing vigorous plants. Hoping for extremely dark, free blooming Delrosi. $200
micranthum ‘Gigantic’ x delenatii v. dunkel ‘John’s Black Magic’ CHM/AOS  - huge, very well coloured versions of perhaps the best and most popular parvi hybrid, Magic Lantern. $200 NET

dunkel Special: one of each of the above 3 remarkable offerings for $500 (save $100!)

Paph. Fourman’s Pan Tao (Vanguard x sanderianum) x henryanum

As yet unregistered, these represent a new direction. Just like Pebble Path (Vanguard x henryanum) pleasantly surprised so many, we are hoping for the same, now with the sanderianum influence to bring out longer petals on this wonderfully spotted multifloral. One of a kind! $150

Paph. Kolosand ‘Zephyrus Tan Dragon’ HCC/AOS x Sander’s Pride ‘Cheetah’

Next generation sanderianum hybrid, these are 50% sanderianum! Pod parent introduces vigour and size. Some should have 60 cm petals or greater….$125

Paph. Taiwan ‘Zephyrus Gold’ AM/AOS x philippinense ‘Norman’ HCC/AOS

Same parent as above, here combined with the very colourful, very long petalled pollen parent, these should be excellent. $125

Paph. henryanum (‘Bear’ SM/TPS x sib) x sib

The parents here are larger and thicker leaved than most henryanum clones, which leads me to believe these may be tetraploids. Compact growing, very colourful, huge flowers on tall strong stems. Compots $150

Paph. venustum album ‘Golden Green’ x ‘Leprechaun’

Sib cross of this very popular species. Fast growing! Compots $80

Paph. vensutum ‘Orange Marble’ x ‘Zephyrus Choice’

The coloratum form of venustum is now more rare than the alba form! Not commonly available. Compots $100
